Dolphins 2012 Medicine: “Be Offensive”

As the rancid taste of the Sparano era clears our collective palates, Finfans look forward to a decision in the horizon that will prove rewarding rather than regrettable. The Dolphins are in need of a new head coach and here’s who I think they should pursue and why.

It has been well-documented that Fins’ owner Stephen Ross hopes to land a “young Don Shula”. But the answer to the organization’s yearning to again be competitive for a post-season trophy lies more in what they need to improve on than in the persona of a coach likely to summon glory days again.

A new horizon

The South tip of Aventura has undergone a few changes – some new facades and even a building. The once vacant land next to Terzetto Villas is now the home of the Aventura Chabad South. Several trailers have been connected to be the temporary home of the Synagogue until they build their permanent home to span the entire property. In the meantime, this has been a great location for residents, members, and the community as a whole. There’s now a vibrance to that corner that was desolate for so many years.

Aventura City of Excellence School annual shopping bazaar begins tomorrow, Nov 30th from 10 to 4 at the community recrection center.

Fun for the kids and parents too!

A sneak peek into the peek-a-boo playground & cafe reveals an awesome environment for the kids to let loose and the parents to relax. Their doors have not officially opened, but the front window is no longer covered up – go take a look. A mix of fun wall murals and a tactile play area will surely be a popular spot for Aventura kids. This new cafe is located on 29th Avenue across from The Venture.
