It was recently reported by BloombergBusiness that the wealthy prefer shopping in person than going to the Internet for their purchases. This is great news for Aventura Mall, but also no surprise. The change to top luxury tenants and major brands did not happen in one night. A conscious effort to rebrand Aventura Mall has evolved from a great shopping mall in Miami to a luxury shopping destination that includes Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Rolex, Tiffany & Co. and much more.
The article by Bloomberg mentions the results from a study about the wealthy:
“The study found that very few affluent shoppers research exactly what they want to buy, then go out and make the purchase. Instead, they’d rather walk around a store and see things up close. Plus, many insist on guidance from living, breathing humans.”
This might be true for the rich, but for everyone else it’s always nice to find the same products online at huge discounts. Since Aventura Mall is one of the most visited shopping malls in America it’s safe to say that this retail destination is on the list of wealthy shoppers nationwide.
