Rejuvenation of North Miami Beach

March 1st, 2013 · 1 Comment

Mayor George Vallejo, the City of North Miami Beach Council and their entire team celebrated the recent spark to North Miami Beach and the surrounding area. Yesterday, the doors opened to the Marina Palms sales center on 172nd and Biscayne Boulevard.

This grand opening event took place after Mayor Vallejo’s recent speech to the Aventura Marketing Council. The Mayor is excited and has put into effect a promise to cut through red tape in effort to expedite the ability for businesses to thrive in the area. Marina Palms will not only be a crown jewel to the City of North Miami Beach, but it will also provide a tremendous tax boost to the City that will circulate in many directions. This will undoubtedly put the City of North Miami Beach in the same conversations about luxury living when people speak about its neighbors, Aventura and Sunny Isles Beach.

You can listen to the entire speech by Mayor Vallejo to get a clear vision of the future for the City of North Miami Beach.

The grand opening event kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony that included the development group and City officials. Mayor Vallejo echoed his continued enthusiasm for this project and the importance it will bring to the City of North Miami Beach. Neil Fairman, of the Plaza Group, followed with a gracious welcome and a positive announcement that over 100 units have been reserved.

The crowd was filled with distinguished business leaders, real estate professionals, industry groups, designers, and potential buyers. Everyone was thrilled to hear that the future of North Miami Beach is set to launch forward.

This rejuvenation on Biscayne Boulevard is happening blocks from the recently renovated retail plazas in Aventura. Biscayne Boulevard has evolved and gone through a transformation from Hallandale Beach Boulevard to 163rd Street – the combination of luxury living, retail, and restaurants is world renowned and attracts visitors from across the globe. This sliver of land spans through three different cities and two counties – it’s a sweet spot where Broward County meets Miami-Dade. Based on Mayor Vallejo’s remarks, it’s clear that Marina Palms has certainly solidified the City of North Miami Beach’s membership into the club of luxury. A perfect combination of yachts at the Marina and Florida Palms in the sky.
