A few Google searches will reveal exactly what the hCG weight loss method is all about, we’ll give you a few basic tidbits of information we gathered.

hCG is scientifically defined as Human Chorionic Gonadotropin. Apparently it’s a protein that is created in women during the first stages of pregnancy and it exists in the placenta. This type of protein is connected to the functions in the endocrine system and sends signals to the hypothalamus.

This isn’t meant to be a medical posting, but if you remember from anatomy and biology the hypothalamus does have a role in the metabolism and weight gain and loss. We recommend that you do some searching online to get the facts for yourself. However, there are discussion online that hCG hormone causes the body to consume muscle as well as fat in the body and this method of weight loss must be balanced with a strict diet to avoid serious risks.

It seems that a closer look into the hCG diet weight loss method reveals that it’s not without risk and requires attention to detail. It might have incredible quick results, but it should not be taken lightly and requires a lot of research and consultations with a medical professional as well as a nutritionist. It’s not surprising that people looking for something easy to give them a new body will get a lot of attention.

i tried it. it worked, but was too many pills and too many shots. ii had to goto doctor once a week and pay like 60$ each visit. i do not think it’s really worth it in the end. was better just for me to eat better. i wouldnt recommend it to anyone though. coz once you stop it, your weight comes right back. it’s just a quick fix and not longterm. best just to eat better and exercise. i was shocked they let me even go on the diet. i was 5′11.5 182lbs. when i went for lipo the doc said i wasn’t fight enough or i didnt have enough body fat. Hcg is just a quick fix, and if u want to continue the weight loss u have to be on it for good.. and my doc my primary doc was so against doing it as it was making me dizzy and feel faint

Thanks for posting this article on hcg weight loss. A number of the videos and pov’s your have posted do have a ring of truth but you left out a few key points I think are worth considering:

    * A big reason traditional hcg treatments fail is because they are often not under the medical supervision of Doctor onsite. This means the programs referenced are often less scientific and structured than they need to be. It makes sense to choose a program with a Doctor onboard

    * A number of hcg diet programs do not take get their hcg from FDA-approved pharmacies which is why some treatments can be considered dangerous.

    * Finally any good hcg program MUST include a sensible diet plan that does not advocate massive amounts of weight loss but rather long-term structured weight loss.

As with anything, the quality of the team involved has a big impact on the results and sustainability of the program.

If your interested in researching HCG, it may be worthwhile reviewing the ‘Getting Started’ guide available from Hollywood, FL HCG Weight Loss Clinic, HCG Results at: http://www.myhcgprogram.com/getting-started/

There are also some related articles from the New York Times and WebMD which offer some further balanced viewpoints.

    Thanks again for posting!
