Art Basel is taking place during Chanukah and there will be several Israeli artists and designers showcasing. Enjoy the holiday and visit the exciting art around Miami. Here’s a quick overview of a few highlighted Israeli artists.

The work of Israeli artists and designers will be present again this year during Art Basel Miami Beach and parallel art fairs.
Please see below some of the projects that we are aware of:

Zoom Art Fair – Orit Ben Shitrit (performance schedule)

Orit Ben Shitrit will participate in Zoom Art Fair, a fair showcasing the work of Middle East artists. She will present a two-channel video installation and a site-specific dance performance to take place throughout the four days of the fair.

Art Basel Miami Beach – Rachely Rotem (oceanfront project)

The studio of Israeli architect, Rachely Rotem, who practices in Tel Aviv and NY, won along with Phu Hoang Office, the competition for the Art Basel Miami Beach and Creative Time Oceanfront project. They will be designing and building a large outdoor public art pavilion in Miami Beach. The twenty-five thousand square foot beach site will showcase video and performance artists as well as D.J. dance programs. (December 1 – 4) Each of the 4 days has a set program of activities that revolve around a chosen city theme (Berlin, Detroit, Glasgow, Mexico City), and the space is free and open to the public.
