Last week the South Florida New York University Alumni Club gathered at Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak, located in the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort in Aventura. Bourbon Steak was the perfect atmosphere for this “Cheers and Connect” event for NYU alumni. The stylish and sophisticated bar setting was conducive to mingling with new and familiar faces. Bourbon Steak welcomed New York University with a selection of exciting wines and chef snacks, each was a big hit. The lobster roll and tomato basel snacks were loved by all, not to mention the tasty truffle popcorn and fries. This quick taste of Bourbon Steak’s dishes had some guests wanting more, so several of the NYU alumni dined at the restaurant to enjoy the exciting Miami Spice menu.
Throughout the year this NYU club hosts events across South Florida, so if you’re a NYU alum in the area make sure to connect at www.nyuflorida.com
The energy of the restaurant mixed with the excitement of NYU almuni made for a very enjoyable evening.
