At every turn in the Aventura Mall shoppers are faced with high fashion. The brand name stores likely battle to have a presence at the mall, one of the nation’s top ranked retail centers. Finally, we have choices of where to buy $100.00 t-shirts and $250.00 jeans. What did we do when the choices where only Aeropostale, Structure and the Gap? Every month different shops showcase their products, services, and clothing lines to the thousands of customers walking the mall. This weekend 7 For All Mankind (7FMK) is celebrating a collaboration with Jonathan Adler, so we asked our Fashion Contributor to comment on the event. Here’s what she had to say…

If you’re looking for anything but classic looking clothes for the upcoming summer season, look no further than your local 7 For All Mankind boutique. Jonathan Adler’s debut crossover from furniture to fashion in collaboration with 7 FMK is kitschy to say the least. Glamour Magazine described his new collection as “…maximalism-meets-cheeky-luxury.” Featuring his signature prints (bamboo, keyhole and Acapulco) and lacquered accents, you’d have to be a Jonathan Adler fanatic or 7’s collector to spend the $90-210 on any of these pieces. Now, don’t get me wrong, the cut and quality of 7 jeans can’t be beat but who needs clothing to match their furniture?

I guess if you’re in the mood for some “champagne and sweets” make sure you stop by the Aventura Mall 7FMK location right across from J. Crew. – Valkwa, Fashion Contributor.

7 For All Mankind has had other collaborations: Vans (snow gear), The Great China Wall, Zac Posen, Azzedine Alaia, Evan Yurman and Pucci. We look forward to hearing from you regarding the new collaboration – the prints such as the bamboo, keyhole and Acapulco styles, the lacquered buttons featured for signature kitsch, the six tops and six jeans (3/men, 3/women) has three significant themes – deluxe, rustic and pop.
