Aventura is home to one of the largest Argentinian communities in South Florida. This Argentinian community has established itself over the years bringing with it culture and style. Many locals have tagged Aventura as “Little Argentina.” Historically this type of label is applied when an immigrant group not only flocks in numbers, but also shares their traditions, foods, clothing, music, and ways of life, with the surrounding residents. Aventura is lucky to have the Argentinians embrace this City. They’ve brought an excitement that can be found across town.
You don’t have to look far and you’ll find some incredible Argentinian foods and style. Take for example, La Estancia Argentina located on Biscayne Blvd. This chic market is a slice of Argentina in Aventura. It’s an excellent spot for a morning cortadito and factures (pastries) or an afternoon sandwichito de miga or lomo. In addition to their sandwiches and snacks, they have a market where shoppers can find dulce de leche, cheeses, meats, wines and other traditional Argentinian items. If you want to experience Argentinian cuisine, take a moment to visit La Estancia Argentina in Aventura. This venture was started here in 2003 by a small group of friends from Argentina and is now a staple in the 33180 zip code.

In addition to distinct cuisine, Argentina is leading the fashion world in style. Did you catch Ocean Drive Magazine this April? Nacho Figueras, the Argentinian polo player, was featured on the cover. At Aventura Mall there are several Argentinian brands – La Martina and Etiqueta Negra (coming soon). These two clothing brands are very distinct Argentinian looks. La Martina is a popular polo fashion, while Etiqueta Negra is a chic casual brand. These are the hottest shops in Argentina and have become high demand in the US. Now that these styles are easily available at our mall, it’s difficult to distinguish who’s Argentinian. They’re clearly taking over the town and doing it in style.

We look forward to hearing from all our Argentinian friends, families, and businesses in the community. Please drop us a comment here or on Facebook to share your Argentinian pride.
