There are too many smartphones on the market. When will it ever stop? The iphone is said to be the leader, but there are many phones fighting for second and trying to take the lead. The Nexus One was just released and has so much buzz surrounding its size, function, and applications. This is known as Google’s first crack at the cellphone. But, I thought that the G1 Google Phone was the first – I have it and the phone says Google on the back. Then there is the htc mytouch isn’t that Google. All these phones use Android.

Android is Google’s firmware or operating system on cellphones. It’s chasing the iphone and many users are big fans of Google’s solution. The Nexus One is suppose to be a very pricey phone, but a lot cheaper when bought with a contract. I think that this phone is unlocked and can be used with many carriers. The Google G1, Droid, myTouch, and iPhone were all very expense when they first hit the market. The G1 was a lot of money then free offers popped up all over the web.
