Art Basel starts today in Miami Beach. This is the most important show in the United States and well worth visiting. Surrounding the official Art Basel show are many art exhibits at local galleries and hotels. Sometimes these events are even more popular than the featured showcases. This Saturday night there’s an artist in our midst, she’s exhibiting her handmade jewelry at the Mutiny Hotel.

Carol Haggiag was born in Tunisia and then moved to Paris. Now she lives in Miami Beach where she creates one of a kind silver jewelry. Her art echoes beautiful forms found in nature. Her signature flower rings, earrings, and bracelets are stunning. These delicate masterpieces demand attention while at the same time comfortable to wear.
