Aventura Mall Stores

December 29th, 2008 · 1 Comment

The Aventura Mall was packed over this weekend and the movies were no exception as well. The stores were crowded with shoppers looking for insane sales and clearance items. Does anybody buy full retail price anymore in the Aventura Mall stores? I try to aviod mobs of people while shopping and that usually means full price, but that’s fine. I rather pay the extra money and not be in the middle of a retail frenzy. During this tough economic time it’s difficult to stick to that principle and avoid bumping shoulders searching through the sales section for that perfect size shirt or slacks.

I noticed there are many new designer shops that opened in the Aventura Mall. I walked by the new True Religion Aventura store, checked out the new location of the Aventura Apple store, and even checked out Forever 21. All of these shops were packed with shoppers riding the post Christmas sales. I did visit Lounge and enjoyed their chill vibe (a rare find in the Aventura Mall) and fresh t-shirts, watches, and other hip home furnishings. There are so many new stores in the Aventura Mall, you have to visit over a few days to take advantage of all the new shops and restaurants.

A quick word about the movies this season. I saw Doubt, Gran Torino, Slumdog Millionaire and all are entertaining. If I had to pick one, go see Slumdog Millionaire.

Have a great New Year!

I went to the Aventura Mall during that time and agree it was packed. Lounge is a cool store, but I thought it was overpriced. I don’t know anything about Lounge can anyone clue me in?? I buy, but only what I know.
