Dear Prospective Contributor,

It’s time again for the Annual Lumpy Sue Acoustic MusicFest, which will be held at Greynolds Park on Friday, November 28, 2008, the day after Thanksgiving.

The concert is free, but we hold a raffle to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami. As you know, Habitat for Humanity raises money to build homes in distressed areas. One-hundred percent of the money raised through the raffle stays in our community to help those in need.

Putting on a concert takes additional funding, and we are reaching out to you to present an opportunity for sponsorship. We are primarily seeking a Title Sponsor, to present the concert to the public. But smaller opportunities exist, covering printing, signage, even refreshments for our musicians.

Please take this opportunity to review the attached information about the Lumpy Sue Acoustic Musicfest. We hope you’ll decide to share your blessings with those who are in need with your support as a sponsor. We are proud of the work we have done for Habitat over the last 20 years, and with your help, we can take this effort to the next level.

Approximately 2,000 local residents attend the Lumpy Sue Acoustic MusicFest every year, making it a great opportunity to expose your products and services to potential patrons, who will associate your name with a great event, and a great cause.

We would like to discuss this opportunity further with you. Please call us at (786)
999-5567.

Either way, we thank you in advance for your tax-deductible contribution, and we hope to see you at the festival!

Sincerely,

Michelle Sas / Bruce Grayson
Fundraising / Liaison Planning Committee Chairperson
